The Gathering is a God-inspired appointment where the body of Christ can come together in unity to experience the power of God working in their lives. This revival outpouring takes its design and call for unity directly from the models of the New Testament church as they experienced the new thing which God was readying them to receive (Acts 2:1-4). 

As we come together in unity, the Lord our God will be there (Matt. 18:20). We firmly believe that at The Gathering, God will meet us and do above and beyond what we can fathom. Our prayer is that each person who attends this weekend event will experience God doing new and extravagant things, while radically equipping them to impact their communities. 

Since its birth, Rose of Sharon has had a profound desire to create opportunities where people could escape the world around them and experience God in an atmosphere designed to encounter the power of God working in their lives. This concept, in all its implementations, is a forerunner of all The Gathering is created to be. Although Rose of Sharon is synonymous for events such as this, the Gathering is a new thing for a new season to bring the people of God together for what God has in store for them in this time. 

It is our prayer that during this weekend event, believers of all ages can pour into and inspire and ignite a new passion in one another as they receive from the Lord; putting all differences and divisions aside. So get ready for a new thing! The Gathering is not a youth conference, a pastor's retreat, or a couple's getaway, but it is an every person revival outpouring.
